~WHO WE ARE

Munai Life is a magazine about how we live, what we value, and what sustains us. Motivated by the movement toward healthy living, spiritual, and cultural awareness, it is a venue for thoughtful and creative people to express practical ways for us to become more cooperative, present, artful, and balanced in our everyday lives. This is not just another fluffy-fuzzy-feel-good magazine, but it is a place to share the challenges, intentions, and actions that bring us closer to Munai in the everyday existence of our world. It is a down to earth approach.

Four times a year, Munai Life will explore this growing alternative worldview through letters, articles, artwork, short stories, poems, interviews, reviews, photo-essays, and more. We welcome submissions and contributions of letters, articles, photos, illustrations, product reviews (books, CD’s, and other products), art pieces, and story ideas to be included in our magazine.

     ~SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES

We encourage all people that have Munai in their lives to share it with us. You do not need to be a published author to write for Munai Life. Most of our articles come from our readers! If you feel you are called to contribute on a regular basis through a column, let us know your ideas. We are open to ideas and suggestions that will help enhance our purpose.

Written submissions should be no longer than 2000 words, submitted in Rich Text Format (.rtf) or Word (.doc) via e-mail, or in a CD with a printed copy to our mailing address. The minimum image resolution for e-mailed artwork and photography is 200 dpi. Email to munailife-AT-shaw.ca  or by postal mail to:
Munai Life Magazine
230-1210 Summit Drive, Suite 181, Kamloops, BC V2C 6M1

We do not return submissions,  please do not send originals. We know you worked hard on your article and that is special to you and has your unique voice. Nonetheless, with the exception of poetry, we reserve the right to edit submissions for length, clarity, and grammar, especially last minute editing. Also, let us know of deliberate uses of non-traditional spellings, so the tone of your work will not be accidentally altered.
